Dona Tracy is a professional photographer, a wildlife advocate, a naturalist and a lifelong lover of animals. She received a medal from the New York State Veterinary Medical Society for her work establishing a system to license wildlife rehabilitators and was named New York State’s first Master Wildlife Rehabilitator. In 1982 she founded and ran a not for profit, all volunteer center for injured birds of prey, the Hudson Valley Raptor Center, a state of the art facility for rehabilitation, education, research and breeding.
